EVH Drop D Tunner

EVH drop D

If you have a Floyd Rose® bridge and if you have ever tried to go from a standard E tuning to D you already know why the EVH D-TUNA® is one of the greatest guitar contributions from Edward Van Halen next to fret tapping.

Thanks to Eddie's guitar genius, you no longer need to crack out the allen wrenches, adjust the bridge float, or hope that you can stretch the fine tuners down to drop D tuning. The EVH D-Tuna® allows you to switch between drop D and E in an instant.

The D-Tuna® was designed to work with Floyd Rose® bridges including licensed versions where the bridge presses directly on the locking screw. Yes, the D-Tuna® even works on low profile Floyd Rose® Tremolo Bridges. You can also use any string gauge from .009 - .012.

To install the D-tuna® basically you just remove the locking screw from the low E bridge saddle replace it with one of the two D-Tuna® locking screws and springs that are included. (Don't forget to check the intonation when you're done).

The EVH D-Tuna® Package Contents:

* EVH D-Tuna®
* Allen Wrench
* Spring
* (2) Long Replacement string locking screws

Note: When using the EVH D-Tuna to prevent the other strings from going out of tune the bridge must be stabilized first. To do so we recommend using the Hipshot Tremsetter.
