Eco Edition Laptop from Sony's Vaio W Series Presented at CES

Another gadget presented at Consumer Electronics Show is the Eco Edition model from the Sony Vaio W Series. The device represents a ultra-green mini laptop packed in a green-tinted plastic enclosure manufactured from 23 percent recycled CDs.

The case of the laptop is made of recycled plastic bottles. The Sony Vaio Eco Edition model is RoHS, Energy Star 5.0, and EPEAT compliant. The laptop boasts a high-definition 10.1-inch LED screen and its battery can hold up to seven hours at full charge. The hard disc has a capacity of 250GB.

Sony's new laptop can be acquired for $ 450 and become an ideal device for those who need a second computer to carry out simple tasks.
