The new Sanyo Eneloop batteries

Highly-praised for its long-lasting power, Sanyo proudly announced that the AA- and AAA-sized Eneloop rechargeable batteries get upgraded even further. Sanyo claims that these Eneloop batteries can be recharged for about 1,500 times, which is 500 cycles more than competing batteries. It also means that users can use their Eneloop for up to three years, making them very valuable in these economically trying times. The new Eneloop also features a low self-discharge rate, making them usable even if it has been charged and stored in a drawer. And like the Eneloop batteries before it, these upgraded rechargeable batteries come pre-charged from the factory, this time using renewable solar power, so these can be used right out of the box.
